Maliyah Chance is a Calgary-based identity architect, multidisciplinary creative and youth mentor with over 11 years of experience across entertainment, performance, and visual storytelling. Of Lao descent, her artistic journey began in music as a recording artist and evolved to include dance, modeling, pageantry, and art direction. Her work now bridges creativity and wellbeing, guided by a belief in transforming everyday living into expressions of self and meaningful connection.She is the reigning Miss Alberta 2025 and was previously crowned Miss Teenage Alberta 2018, with each platform reflecting different chapters of her advocacy journey. Maliyah actively advocates for youth empowerment, mentoring young people to build confidence, resilience, and purpose.An internationally published model, Maliyah has been featured in 17:23 Magazine (Kyiv, Ukraine) and Moevir Magazine (Paris, France). As a performer and speaker, she has shared her talents and message across Canada and the United States. Her appearances include the 2019 Red Deer Canada Winter Games, singing the national anthem for the Calgary Surge, and speaking on resilience and empowerment at the Calgary Stampede Roundup.At the heart of her work is a belief that love is the most powerful force for change.
